1 pair of Pomms or Cat Toys (click on picture for link to cat toys).
1 pair of knee high nylons (or the feet from used nylons)
1 shoe string
Tie a knot in one end of the shoe string right beside the ball holding it in the nylon. Then tie a knot in the nylon immediately past the shoe string (this helps prevent the shoe string from sliding off the nylon).
Ear plugs are like any other equipment you use on your horse. It takes time to teach them to except them.
Progressive desensitaztion works best.
It is recommended that you work your horse in a round pen and get them accustom to the ear plug flopping against their head. If you attached the ear plugs to your tack and an ear plug comes out of your horse's ear it may spook them.
Repeat step 2 with the other nylon on the other end of the shoe string.
Trim off the excess nylon from each side and you are done. It is recommended to attach the ear plugs to the bridle or tiedown. This helps keep them from being lost or forgotten in the horses ear.
